Jesus Christ Children’s Church Curriculum Part 2

Jesus Christ Children’s Church Curriculum  part 2 covers the second half of the Life of Jesus Christ. Emphasis is on the events of his life, death, resurrection and miracles.

1. The 10 Lepers – Principle: Jesus notices when people are not thankful.
2. Jesus Calms the Storm – Principle: Peace is our gift from the Lord. It is up to us to stay in faith and not let fear control our lives.
3. Mount of Transfiguration – Principle: We must take Jesus’ teachings very seriously.
4. Woman Caught in Adultery – Principle: We should be always trying to save, help and encourage people, not see them destroyed.
5. Lazarus Raised from the Dead – Principle: Eternal Life is in Jesus
6. Triumphal Entry – Principle: God is Worthy of Our Praise
7. Cursing of Fig Tree – Principle: We are to have faith in God’s miracle working power. We are to trust and rely in him.
8. Selfish Ambition of James & John – Principle: True Greatness is Serving
9. Last Supper – Principle: Jesus’ shed blood and broken body have allowed God and man to have a new covenant, based on better promises.
10. Garden of Gethsemane – Principle: We must be consecrated to the plan of God for our lives.
11. Trial and Crucifixion – Principle: Jesus paid our sin debt.
12. Resurrection – Principle: We serve a living Saviour who is master over all.
13. Appearance on the Road to Emmaus – Principle: We know Jesus now by the Word and by his Spirit.
